About Us

WorldJetboatExpeditions.com is based in Canterbury - the heartland of New Zealand jet boating and where Sir William Hamilton invented the magnificent jet boat in the 1950s in order to navigate the shallow waterways of rivers on the farmlands of this region. Today, many recreational and intrepid adventurers use the jet boat to navigate the far reaches of some of the world’s most scenic rivers.

Duncan Storrier, the founder and  principal of WorldJetboatExpeditions.com, is one of those adventurers who has over the years has taken a number of expeditions and tours by jet boat around the world. Duncan has 20 years experience in adventure and competition jet boating and has a group of equally competent guides available.
